14-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied with Knowel in your first paid month, contact us within 14 days of your first charge and we will refund the full amount. No questions asked, no clawback of usage.

Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing page. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, after which you will not be charged again.

We do not pro-rate refunds for partial months after the 14-day guarantee period. If you cancel mid-month, you keep access until the end of that month.

When refunds may apply outside the guarantee

We will consider full or partial refunds outside the 14-day window if:

  • Knowel is unavailable for more than 24 consecutive hours due to our fault
  • A significant feature you depend on stops working and we are unable to fix it within 14 days of you reporting it
  • We change the terms of your plan in a way that materially reduces value (e.g. lowering message allocations)

Refunds we don't issue

  • For dissatisfaction after the 14-day window where no service issue exists on our side
  • For lost messages because you exceeded your fair-use allowance (you can upgrade to a higher plan instead)
  • For failures or limitations of the AI models themselves (we don't control the accuracy of generated content)

How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days.

Statutory rights

These refund terms supplement your statutory rights under UK consumer law. They do not limit any right you have under those laws that cannot be waived.
